Northside Democracy For America (NDFA) has a mission to elect socially progressive, fiscally responsible, and ethically committed Democrats to office at all levels of government, with the overarching goal of increasing the progressive nature of government."

We do this by

• Adopting/endorsing a limited number of candidates each election cycle and then working to elect those candidates
• Holding a monthly meeting with guest speakers that allows grassroots activists to connect with candidates and other volunteers
• Hosting campaign trainings that give progressive candidates, campaign workers and volunteers the skills they need to win
• Organizing issue forums to educate on progressive issues

The mission and bylaws of Northside DFA were inspired by the national organization, Democracy for America, headquartered in Burlington Vermont, but they were written by Northside DFA members and can be changed by a vote of those members.
