Sounds good, doesn’t it?

Winning is good. And all the work we did, all the money we donated, all our collective effort made a huge difference. It is all the little things you do that add up to the big things: talking to your friends and family, phone calling through lists, door knocking, donating money we could have used elsewhere … it all really does make a difference. Enthusiasm gap? Not this election.

Our next meeting is next Tuesday, November 13, at 7 pm (6 pm dinner/social hour). We’ll be doing our regular feature, “War Stories,” in which we all share our stories and thoughts from the election: this is one of my favorite meetings - the stories are always great, and it's so much fun to gather and chat about the election. Please join us at the Lincoln Restaurant, 4008 N. Lincoln, as we gather to talk about wins and losses, hard work, experiences on the campaign trail, and our thoughts about the future. As always, “what’s next?” is foremost in our thoughts: plans for the next round of the ongoing fight for our collective future is next. Savor this win: move on to the next – win or lose, there’s always more work to be done.

Looking forward to seeing you and hearing your stories and thoughts –
